Easter bunny

This color scheme is so beautiful for Easter cards.

I embossed my wasabi green with the polka dot folder.  Then I inked it up with versamark and embossing it with some clear embossing powder. I love the look and feel of it. It's shiny and it pops!!

I am entering another card in the Hand Stamped Sentiments for the color challenge. I hope it's ok to upload more than one project.  The theme at SUO Challenges is Easter, and the sketch is from this weeks Freshly Made Sketches. I hope you will find a little bit of time to join these fabulous challenge blogs.

Thanks for stopping by :)

Tag #2!

These little tags are so fun to make!! I needed another Easter tag, and I'll have to get to a matching card for it tomorrow.

I am entering this in the Tag You're It Challenge.  I love the second little tag, and the flowers!! THose were my inspiration for my tag.    I am also entering it into the color challenge over at ColorQ. I love the colors so much, I had to use the same pallet again.  And the theme at Just Us Girls is to do some splattering!!! My kind of fun!

THanks for stopping by.

95th birthday!

My husband's grandmother will be celebrating her 95th birthday at the end of the month, so I wanted to make her an elegant card with flowers to make it feel like spring is coming.  Hopefully spring will arrive shortly, although when looking outside I really don't see that happening any time soon.  Over a foot of snow has fallen overnight and it's still coming down here in Quebec, Canada.

This card I have decided to link up to 3 challenges.  The colors are from Hand Stamped Sentiments.  The floral choice is for The Paper Players, and lastly the sketch is from Freshly Made Sketches.  I hope you play along with these challenge blogs. They are some of my favourite craft blogs :)

I love the way it turned out so I went ahead and made another one. Just a tad bit different so they are unique :)

Easter wishes

I need to get busy with Easter projects. It's coming up fast!

This weeks challenge at SUO Challenge is an Easter theme.  I wanted a soft, simple, elegant card for my husbands grandmother. I think she will like this one.

The colors are from the ColorQ Challenge.  Kiwi(which I don't have, so I used Pear Pizzaz), Black, Kraft, Grey and Neutral.  I love these colors!

THanks for stopping in.

The Challenge

Ever get a new stamp set and can't put it down!?! This is my new favourite. The Blossom Sale a bration set from Stampin' Up. I have made so many cards with this stamp set over the last few weeks! So darn pretty!

I wanted to try the sketch and color scheme from Lesley's The Challenge so much, but I couldn't get it to work the way I wanted. So, I went with the color scheme only.

A wonderful mothers day card with beautiful spring colors.

I used Pumpkin Pie, Bermuda Bay, Smokey Slate, Basic Black and Whisper White.

All Stampin up materials used.

Thanks for stopping in. I love all your comments too, I make my way around the challenge boards commenting as much as I can, since I always get so happy when I have a comment :) Thank you!

Sympathy

I love these colors from the Color Q this week, so this is my second card for the challenge.    The sketch is from the Mojo Monday challenge blog.  I used the image stamped on the background as my "circle" and my sentiment in black overtop. I love how this card came out! The butterfly is inked in the darker blue, and mounted on the lighter blue to make it pop.  Added some pearls too.
The embossing is from the Stampin' Royalty challenge.

Thanks for stopping by to see my work.

Robot love

This little card is made using the Freshly Made Sketches sketch.  The challenge this week at Just Us Girls is Masculine and the colors at The Color Throwdown was red, blue, turquoise and Kraft.

I am not that in love with this card, but I think it's cute just the same.

Thanks.

Friend to friend

Sometimes it's nice to get a card in the mail just because from a friend.  This card would be perfect for that.

I am linking up to three challenges this week.  The sketch is from CAS(E) this sketch.  The embossing is from Stampin' Royalty and the colors are from this weeks ColorQ challenge site.  I coloured the two blues on the flowers, newsprint for the butterfly and my little accents were little flags.

All stampin up materials.

Thanks for stopping in.
