Tag #2!

These little tags are so fun to make!! I needed another Easter tag, and I'll have to get to a matching card for it tomorrow.

I am entering this in the Tag You're It Challenge.  I love the second little tag, and the flowers!! THose were my inspiration for my tag.    I am also entering it into the color challenge over at ColorQ. I love the colors so much, I had to use the same pallet again.  And the theme at Just Us Girls is to do some splattering!!! My kind of fun!

THanks for stopping by.

Easter wishes

I need to get busy with Easter projects. It's coming up fast!

This weeks challenge at SUO Challenge is an Easter theme.  I wanted a soft, simple, elegant card for my husbands grandmother. I think she will like this one.

The colors are from the ColorQ Challenge.  Kiwi(which I don't have, so I used Pear Pizzaz), Black, Kraft, Grey and Neutral.  I love these colors!

THanks for stopping in.

Sympathy

I love these colors from the Color Q this week, so this is my second card for the challenge.    The sketch is from the Mojo Monday challenge blog.  I used the image stamped on the background as my "circle" and my sentiment in black overtop. I love how this card came out! The butterfly is inked in the darker blue, and mounted on the lighter blue to make it pop.  Added some pearls too.
The embossing is from the Stampin' Royalty challenge.

Thanks for stopping by to see my work.

Birthday

I made this card for someone special who has a birthday coming up soon, and it took me a while to get it where I actually love it now. I had another layer behind, dsp, and it looked too busy. I love all the vanilla.  I hope she likes it!!! It certainly was a challenge for me!

I used the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches, and colors from Color Q, and the challenge at Stampin Royalty was for a birthday card! Check, check and check!!!!  I had to swap out Raspberry Ripple for Rich Razzelberry and Primrose Petals with Melon mambo. I don't own those ink or paper colors, yet!

Thanks for stopping by.

St. Paddy's day!

I made this card for two challenges today. One is for Pals Paper Arts which is to create something GREEN! And the second challenge is Sweet Sunday Sketch for the sketch.

I don't have any Always Artichoke, so I swapped for Old Olive and looking at the card, Lucky Limeaide and Old Olive are so close in colors its difficult to see I used two colors!

Now that I look at the card again, I am not liking it! grrrr....anyone like this? I think its great at night, and then come morning, ugh :(  I am going to attempt this card again tonight :)

Thanks for stopping by.

I found a new sketch blog this week, Try Stampin' On Tuesday. It is a nice, simple, card sketch.   A few friends of mine suggested I make a bright card, cheery, springy!  So I went back and case'd myself from this card!

The colors over at Colour Q are amazing!!!

Thanks for stopping in. I will have other posts today as well with more cards I have been working on!
