Friday Mash up Basket!

This weeks challenge at The Friday Mashup Challenge is "a-tisket, a-tasket....a green and yellow basket", so I decided to "Mash it Up!" I haven't filled it up yet with goodies, but I will!!

So here is the "Mashup" Challenge :

1. Make a project using the "colors Green & Yellow".
2. Or Make a "3-D project that's a Basket or a Treat Pouch".
3. Or "Mash it Up" and create a "Treat Basket/Pouch using the colors Green & Yellow".

Birthday card

I started out trying to work some robots or monsters onto this card, but in the end it wasn't looking right, so I turned it into a guy card for a birthday! I am loving it.  I love when that happens.  I am still going to try that monster/robot card though soon! I have to!! It's on my mind and I won't be happy until I make it.  So, I found a few challenges on the net for this card. I am entering it in the Color Throwdown challenge. I also wanted to enter it in The Friday Mashup Challenge which was to create a card using Paper Piercing which I absolutely LOVE to do, I am sure I do that on every card almost. And, lastly, I am entering it in The Pals Paper Arts which provided me with a lovely sketch!

Birthday.....

I have been trying to make some birthday cards for the upcoming year, and the Mojo Monday Sketch helped me out greatly!   I went looking for a color combo challenge, and came across Create with Connie and Marie, and the colors are some of my favorites.  Next I wanted to enter it for the Friday Mashup, which was to create a birthday card, and to take it even further was to use Pastel colors, BINGO!

Hope you like today's card. Hopefully I will be back again tomorrow with another birthday card!

Mash it up with a new sketch!

Hi everyone,

I have been wanting to create this card since Friday Mash up came out, and then this morning I checked out one of my favorite sketch challenge blogs, Freshly Made Sketches, and I LOVED this weeks sketch!!!!

So two challenges in one this week!

So here is the "Mashup" Challenge :

1. Make a project featuring "A Shaker Card".
2. Or Make a project with a "Winter Theme".
3. Or "Mash it Up" and create a " Winter Themed Shaker Card. "

Here is the sketch:

I used Stampin' Up! Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, and Early Espresso colors. I used a sweet treat cup with some Mika flakes for my Shaker part, and of course the snowflake for the Winter theme, and little jingle bells for that little extra, and the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.
