I'm cutting it close today! Here is my card for this weeks Freshly Made Sketches.
I used my Silhouette Cameo on this one to help me with the circles and the letters. Stamped on the circles with the Background Collage Stamp and added snowflakes and rhinestones to the front. I love how it turned out!

cutie pie reindeer!!
I was checking out Silhouette sites for tutorials, and came across this one at Craftsy. I used my print-and-cut feature on my machine and popped up some of the little elements on the adorable little guy.

christmas scene
I have been wanting to get a die that makes a lovely window frame, but instead opted to make my own. I recently purchased a silhouette cameo, and have been having fun cutting out things with it. This machine is amazing! I love everything i have created with it so far :) I also cut out the leaves for the little holly over the window. I sponged on some soft sky for the sky behind the trees.
Here is my card. Used Stampin' Up! Lovely as a Tree stamp set for the background. Drew in a little red bird by hand, added some snow flakes, which unfortunately don't show up now.
My walls are all painted grey practically in my house, so I went with a grey card!

Christmas FMS#200
This week Freshly Made Sketches is celebrating their 200th with some amazing prizes to be won!!! I am entering last minute, took me some work to get this card to look the way I wanted.
I started with my new Silhouette machine and cut out the word Merry Christmas. Then I used the Christmas Collage stamp to stamp the front of the card. Added some Always Artichoke DSP at the top and in the middle. Topped it off with some Cherry Cobbler ribbon and an adorable glitter heart. Love that glitter paper for that perfect little touch of glamour.
All the entries are beautiful, it is very intimidating to be adding your card to a challenge where the cards are all so gorgeous!! good luck to everyone. :)

Merry Monday
It's another week over at Merry Monday Challenge Blog...and this weeks challenge is to use ornaments, blue, silver and grey. Perfect for what I wanted to make. I have taken pics of the outside, the pull out card, and of course the back :)
I edited this blog post to put up a card of my cat, Perry :) He is a great model.....I wanted to be able to show off this card WITH a pic!!! It will have a picture of my girls instead of the cat though when I go to send them :)
This is a photo card idea I had. Took me a couple tries to get the measurements right. It's a pull out card that will still fit in a regular sized envelope for mailing, (maybe minus the brad and ribbon at top, or it will cost you more).
I love how it turned out!!
Thanks

Fab friday
Two posts in one day! I love a lazy sunday with no where to go. My kids and I crafted for a few hours together, what a great day. I have added some washi tape for part of the sketch, its really faint, but it's there!
Fab Friday Challenge is a sketch challenge this week.
Here is my card based on the sketch.
Thanks.

Merry Monday & FMS
I am really cutting it close for Merry Monday. The link up closes in a hour, and I was determined to get a card done this week. I have been thinking all week how to combine Freshly Made Sketches and Merry Monday. I love how it turned out. It was difficult to not throw some red or green on the card, but all neutral works!

Merry Monday take #2
This is my second take at the challenge over at Merry Monday. The challenge was to make a card based on the christmas carol "Silent night".
I love an evening when the snow is falling, all is calm and bright....this card has the falling snow, the little house covered in glistening snow.
I used a new technique on this card. The packing tape technique! can't wait to make more :) Super easy to make, and it sure does make a pop for this card.

Silent night FMS
I am combining two challenges today. One is the sketch, which is from Freshly Made Sketches. The second challenge was to make a card based off "Silent Night", which is from the Merry Monday Challenge Blog.
Silent Night....one of my favorite Christmas carols. The silence of a cold winters night. The trees are bare, the snow glistening on the trees and ground. All is calm. The trees from this stamp set (Lovely as a tree) makes me think Christmas and Silent night.
I stamped some snow flurries on the main background, added some dazzling diamonds to the trees and the ground, and added some glitter paper and some ribbon.
Hope you like my card and my interpretation of both challenges.

Christmas Simple and sweet
This week's sketch comes from Freshly Made Sketches. I love how simple and clean this card came out, with a few little details. The main focus is the wonderful Greeting. Merry Monday's challenge was to have the focus be on the words of the cards.

FMS & Merry Monday
Merry Monday's challenge was to use transportation on our Christmas card. I chose a sled :) My girls love to go places being pulled in the sled, especially when it's snowing!
Freshly Made Sketches is where my inspiration came from for my card, and I think it really worked!

Unscripted Christmas
I have 4 Christmas cards made!! I am so excited. I am finally back to cardmaking. I took a break for a while and enjoyed the summer with the kids, but now they are back in school full time, and now I can play along with more sketches.
This sketch is from Unscripted Sketches. I am going to try my hand at a Project life card since I just started with it.

Merry Monday & Fab Friday
I have to get started on some Christmas cards, so my daughter and I sat down and each made a card today. This sketch is from Fab Friday, and I decided to enter my first card (yes, my first of the year!) for Merry Monday. which called for gifts!!! There are some tiny little gifts around the snowman, hope that counts :)
So I am uploading my card, and my daughters card too, because she wanted me too :)

FMS #112
This week Freshly Made Sketches challenge was definitely a "CHALLENGE" for me! I played around with this sketch for quite some time before deciding on the little gingerbread from TSG stamps. I just love this little guy. He is the perfect addition to any card or gift tag.
After uploading, it seems I did the mirror of the sketch, darn it! lol....

Christmas DD/STS#8
Two cards in one day! At this rate I will be ready for Christmas :)
The sketch is such a simple, beautiful way to display those embellishments. I went with a stamped image background, with a cute ornament as my main embellishment. I added some ribbon, twine and pearls to really set it all off. The sketch is from Seize the Sketch.
The colors are from Dynamic Duos. Always Artichoke is my favorite Christmas green color. Pairing it with Crumb Cake made the card really pop. I opted to use Whisper White as a neutral color. I am going to be using this card sketch and colors again! The little sentiment is from TSG. I also stamped the inside. I love finishing the inside of cards, gives them some weight since the front is heavier too.
Thanks for stopping by.
