Cutting it close for Freshly Made Sketches Challenge blog this week!

I decided to check out the Color Throwdown for a color scheme, and I absolutely love how this turned out.

I used Night of Navy, Black, and Summer starfruit and Daffodil Delight.

Simply Color

Beautiful colors this week at the Color Throwdown.  I can't believe I haven't blogged since March! I have made cards,  just haven't had the time to sit down and enter them in any challenges.  My daughter and I sat down to this challenge this afternoon. She did an amazing job!

We used the sketch from Simply Simple Stamping.  Great sketch!!  I, Of course, flipped the sketch. I LOVE portrait cards. I don't do well with landscape cards!

Robot love

This little card is made using the Freshly Made Sketches sketch.  The challenge this week at Just Us Girls is Masculine and the colors at The Color Throwdown was red, blue, turquoise and Kraft.

I am not that in love with this card, but I think it's cute just the same.

This week's sketch at Freshly Made Sketches was so fun, I had to make two cards :)

My first card is a Halloween card! I used the theme from The Paper Players, and the colors from Color Throwdown.

Birthday card

I started out trying to work some robots or monsters onto this card, but in the end it wasn't looking right, so I turned it into a guy card for a birthday! I am loving it.  I love when that happens.  I am still going to try that monster/robot card though soon! I have to!! It's on my mind and I won't be happy until I make it.  So, I found a few challenges on the net for this card. I am entering it in the Color Throwdown challenge. I also wanted to enter it in The Friday Mashup Challenge which was to create a card using Paper Piercing which I absolutely LOVE to do, I am sure I do that on every card almost. And, lastly, I am entering it in The Pals Paper Arts which provided me with a lovely sketch!

Dasher Double

I am combining two challenges this evening.  The Color Throwdown and The Freshly Made Sketches.

The colors were difficult for me for this challenge!! So I went to my good old trusty Dasher from Stampin' Up! I made TONS of Christmas cards last year with him, and I can see the same thing happening this year as well :)
