The only one...

Another pic in a different light.
(I am a portrait photographer, and I take terrible pics of my cards! lol
I need pointers, or a light tent)

Friend to friend

Sometimes it's nice to get a card in the mail just because from a friend.  This card would be perfect for that.

I am linking up to three challenges this week.  The sketch is from CAS(E) this sketch.  The embossing is from Stampin' Royalty and the colors are from this weeks ColorQ challenge site.  I coloured the two blues on the flowers, newsprint for the butterfly and my little accents were little flags.

All stampin up materials.

Thanks for stopping in.

FMS - thinking of you

Freshly Made sketches has, once again, a beautiful sketch this week.

This layout really stumped me. My first card attempt looks nothing like this, and then I remembered my new honeycomb impressions that I haven't used much. This technique with cutting out DSP from other papers is really fun! Definitely going to try that again. Need to find another sketch challenge this week :)

All Stampin' Up! material and supplies.
Thanks for stopping by.

Thinking of Fab Friday

Fab Friday Challenge was a simple clean sketch, and I had it all planned out in my mind before hand, so it didn't take me too long to put this card together last night!

Colours are: Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake and Indigo Blue.

I really like how it turned out!

Thanks.

FMS & Dynamic Duo

I managed to spend a few minutes tonight in my stamp room. I miss it so much. I need to get back into making more, I really need that time to relax and clear my mind.

I found a new blog challenge over at Dynamic Duos to use two beautiful colors, Pool Party and So Saffron and a neutral of my choice if I wanted, so I went with Basic Grey :) Love this color combination.  This is my second time doing this color combo, my first attempt didn't turn out :( But I am loving this one!!  The sketch is from Freshly Made Sketches, its a wonderful sketch, one I will be turning too again and again!

I love how I did my little sentiment....I used the breast part of the Owl Punch!! I love when I can use my punch in different ways :)   You should try it!! I wanted something that would stick out, and it works!!!!

Thanks for stopping in.

Butterfly x 3

I checked out the new sketch today from Freshly Made Sketches, and knew exactly what I wanted to make. Unfortunately, it didn't work out. It started out using a new stamp set I had received when I signed up as a demonstrator, and never got around to using it. Well, I used it, and well, it went back in its case. It wasn't working out, I have other plans for that stamp set now :)   Oh, and I had originally started with a square card too! LOL....

So, I turned to one of my favorite sets, Bliss.  I love this butterfly and the damask background. I used some paper from Spice Cake DSP, some Early Espresso DSP(looks black in the pic) and Pool Party and lucky Limeade Ink.

I added the sentiment Friend from Fabulous Phrases.

Thanks for stopping in today.

Masculine Cards today

We are having a lazy day today, feels great! Girls are playing, Hubby's doing his own thing, and me, I am in my studio having a great day crafting and getting cards ready for the year ahead. So, I jumped to the blues, greens and black and greys which is what inspired me from the challenge from Hand stamped sentiments.  I found two challenges for this card!   My card is very clean and simple. Love it.

So I am entering this card for two challenges: one is for Mojo Monday, the other is for Hand Stamped Sentiments.

Thanks for stopping in again today! I can't believe I have posted three times today! Check out my other posts too. Have a great day.

I CASE'd a card!!!

I was checking out Jennifer's blog today over at : Stampin on the Fly, and I came across a cute little card with a stamp set I have and hardly ever use. I do love the little froggy, he is my favorite, so I made a few quick cards up today while my little one was sleeping :) I love afternoon naps :) It's down time for me and refresh mode for my little one. So I hope you don't mind Jennifer, I CASE'd your card today :) Thanks for the inspiration!!!!!

I made some matching envelopes to go with them too.
