Framed Valentines

My sister in law first showed me these types of shadow box frames, and I absolutely love it!  We did a class before Christmas and made THIS one, and I have one for Halloween too that we made.....and this weekend I managed to find a few minutes to put together a Valentine's one. It's so cute!! It's sitting on my shelves in the living room. This is how it came out.

Thanks for stopping in.

Valentines Day #2

I am loving my new craft room. New shelves, new little table, lOVE IT!! I can create so much better with things in order. And, I don't have a lot of stuff, so its easy to find things. I'll have to take pics to show you all this week.

On to my card.  I checked Chupa's site today, as I do quite often!!! There is a new sketch challenge up for Sketchbook Saturday #44.  I LOVE this sketch!! I say that a lot, but I really do love this one!!!

I am also entering it for The Ribbon Reel where we needed to create something using Polka dots, Pink and Ribbon/Twine, right up my alley :)

So here is my card!!! I don't like taking pictures at night, but I do what i can with what I have.  THe colors I used are Early Espresso DSP, Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette, and Whisper White Paper, and Whisper White Satin Ribbon.

Thanks for stopping in today.

Valentine's fever.....

I am stoked! I borrowed some stamps from my sister in law, April (check out her blog!!) to do some valentines cards. My daughter is hoping to make some cute little cards for her friends this year, but I had no Valentines stamps, Not ONE! So, I call upon April, and she comes to my rescue! Thank you April!!!!

So, here is my card. I used the template from the Sweet Sunday Sketch blog challenge. However, I did rotate the card :) I started the little girl on the white paper, and liked it better as a square, but I am still keeping it within the sketch right?! And the colors from the picture of the little bird from Paper Lovin' Gals made me steer towards reds, pinks, and black!!! The Paper Players want a card with love, and this little girl is dreaming about love! I guess this one is for my hubby :)
I forgot to mention, I used some masking to get the little stems behind the little girl :)

I used all Stampin' Up Material and supplies, as always :)  Basic Black, Riding Hood Red, and Pink Pirouette, and a little touch of Crumb Cake DSP for the background. Hope you enjoyed my card.

Thanks for stopping in!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!!

I made these adorable little treats with red gummie bears inside for my girls. They love gummie bears!!!!  I saw the idea on a blog somewhere, and now of course I don't know where! But, I managed to figure out the dimensions myself. I had only two sweet treat cups, so it worked out!!! I can't wait to give them to the girls tonight after our valentines supper, complete with black forest cake, made by ME!!!

And can't forget the two teachers Valentine's Cards. Isabelle wanted the cute little owl, I did the rest, and she wrote everything by herself on the inside. So proud of that girl :) xxoo
