Greeting Card Box!! New style :)

I worked very hard on this template all last night and it kept me up thinking about the measurements, and I finally got it this morning :)  This card box will hold double my other card box, and its really easy to make too! (after I worked out the kinks)

I am going to fill it with about 10 cards and their envelopes and give to my mom or aunt, and make some too for etsy probably :)

I am dying to get some feedback!!!

All materials are Stampin Up! products, except the inside vanilla pieces.

Christmas Ornament Ball

After seeing this ornament ball in the Stampin up! magazine, I knew I had to make one for my mom, who LOVED it!!  It's hanging in her window as we speak :)

I used all Stampin Up! DSP......5 different styles and mix them.

Time consuming.....but so worth it! The only glue I found that worked, was the tombow, from Stampin up! The ATG gun wouldn't hold.

Mercy’s Tuesday Sketch Challenge #104 (MTSC104)

Here is my entry for Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge.   I am trying to work on a scrapbook for this past year, 8x8 size, and when I seen this sketch, I figured now is the time to start working on a Christmas layout.   I messed up the DSP paper, and was supposed to attach the crochet ribbon at the top of the DSP paper, but I wasn't thinking. lol....

I used all Stampin up! materials.  Colors are: old olive, cherry cobler, crumb cake, and Early Espresso for the matting.  Pearls added some bling and the kraft buttons too. I used the Jolly Jingles Jumbo wheel on the top part of the page using the versa marker.

TFL!

I love my Bind it all Machine!!!! I can make these little calendar so quick and easy.  I used Photoshop, a calendar share off my favorite photography forum, and the Big Shot too.

I made 5 of these calendars this year for family for Christmas. I can't post them on here since my families check out my blog, but they know they are getting one, or I think they assume they are, since I do them every year :)

I embossed the front cover, embellished to my liking.  I made it to sit as a Desk Top Calendar. I also made some for my wedding clients this year. The love them!!!

A Wedding Brag Book with no calendar.

A wedding Desk Top Calendar:

TWO Accordion Brag Books 6x6 -big year :)

I made this little book as a gift to myself!!! My little one turned a year old, and I wanted to make a scrapbook to document that first year.

I cut 6x6 sheets of paper out of Very Vanilla cardstock. I then cut pieces 2 inches wide, by 5 7/16 wide and scored them in half, and used them as my hinges to attach my pages together.   When you unfold the whole scrapbook it measures 5 ft in length!!! My daughters love to open them right up and look at each picture and read the little notes I have made. Then you flip it over and you can another 5 ft of pictures!!! It's double sided!!!

My oldest daughter had just started kindergarten that year as well, so it was a big year for us, so I made a scrapbook for her too.  I glued the edges shut however and made pockets instead of leaving them open like the first scrapbook. I used the same hinge idea except glued three sides of one page and adhered it to the other.  She absolutely loves the little pockets with the writing :)

Welcome Baby Boy

Being a photographer, I always look for ways of personalizing our session, and incorporating handmade items seems to be a big hit.  I have made little brag books for new moms to carry around in their purse.  It's sized at 4x4 inches, and filled with 10 pictures from our session.

These could easily be made into great little brag books for your mom's with pictures of the grandkids :) Makes great little stocking stuffers.

All materials and supplies are Stampin Up!

Greeting Card Box - Elements of Style

I created this box to hold 4-6 coordinating cards with their envelopes. The link can be found here, since its the same template I used. I absolutely love making these little boxes with matching cards. It makes a great gift for teachers, secretaries, friends, grandmothers that seem to have everything.  All it needs is a great little bag, and you are done!

Hope you like it. I am really starting to love the Elements of Style Stamp set. I am so happy to have purchased it.

I used Old Olive, So saffron and chocolate chip cardstock and Old Olive ink.  I used my big shot to emboss the background.

Sweet Sunday Challenge SSC96

Today's challenge was a challenge for me! I spent too long on his card, and I still find it missing something. I used the colors Concord Crush, Pear Pizzazz, and Whisper white.  I used the punch tag, and coordinating stamp set.

Here is my card for today's challenge over at Sweet Sunday Challenge. I found this one difficult for some reason, but I love a challenge!!!!

Nicki made a good point to share the link!!! I completely forgot! I first saw the card box Angie Kennedy's Chicnscratch website, you can find it here. It is SUPER SUPER easy!!!! I am a HUGE fan of Angie's :)  She is truly inspiring :)

I used Early Espresso, and Cherry Cobler cardstock.

Birthday Card for my Mom

My Mother's birthday card!   I used Concord Crush, Pear Pizzaz, and matching DSP.  I used the Top Note die, running it through twice to achieve the pointed ends.  Added some White Taffeta Ribbon, and embossed the first layer of Pear Pizzaz. Came together very quickly.

Color Dare #88 - Red Olives

I decided to jump in on all the wonderful blog challenges. It really encourages me to get my Christmas cards done, which I am happy to report are! I didn't have too many to do, but it still took me a long time, but today I am hoping to get them in the mail. I am so excited to join the blogging world!!!

So I found this challenge thanks to Jen, who does amazing work!

I used the three colors set out by Color Dare #88, Riding Hood Red, Old Olive and a Neutral of my choice. I chose, Crumb cake, and Very Vanilla cardstock.  Dasher is stamped in Early Espresso.  I used the Jolly Jingles Wheel for the background, and embossed it (doesn't show in picture).  I used the Big Shot and my Circle Scissor Plus for the scallop circle and coordinating circles.  The button is Kraft button with the Twine, they go really well together. Finally the DSP is Brocade Background, a DSP that has been retired for a while, but I Love it still :)

So there you have it!

Blue Christmas with Big Shot

I purchased the Big Shot about 2 months ago, along with the famous Top Note. I LOVE that die.  And, after reading about how Mary Fish did this with her Big Shot, I was a fan immediately.  I love the versatility of the die. I did some patchwork with some Blueberry Crisp DSP, ran it through the Big Shot, and then turned it 90 degrees, and ran it through again to create the shape in the middle! Love love love it!!!!  I can't wait to make some more Christmas Cards with this template with some cherry cobbler and DSP to match :) I'll let you know how that goes with pictures of my results.

I have entered this card in The Paper Players Challenge PP27 - A Christmas Theme. The challenge was to make and share a Christmas Card, and voila!

I have also entered it in the Stampin Royalty Challenge #49!

Curtain Call Act #59

I am loving all the challenges I am finding by clicking on different blogs and seeing what they are following. I have been doing this all morning, instead of cleaning!!!  I need to go and do some cleaning but desperately wanted to try my shot at Curtain Call Act #59. I don't have any of the colors in Ink Pads, only the papers, so I swapped out the Basic Grey with Crumb Cake, and I think it still looks ok, would have been much better with Basic Grey though.

MOJO Monday 168- Contest

I am trying to become more active in contests and challenges, and this Mojo Monday's challenge was really quick to come together. I love blues, so wanted to take this Christmas card into the blue tones and away from reds and greens, as I have been doing. I really love this template, in fact I am going to make a bunch more of this for my friends and family!!!!
