FMS #112

This week Freshly Made Sketches challenge was definitely a "CHALLENGE" for me!   I played around with this sketch for quite some time before deciding on the little gingerbread from TSG stamps. I just love this little guy.  He is the perfect addition to any card or gift tag.

After uploading, it seems I did the mirror of the sketch, darn it! lol....

Christmas DD/STS#8

Two cards in one day! At this rate I will be ready for Christmas :)

The sketch is such a simple, beautiful way to display those embellishments.  I went with a stamped image background, with a cute ornament as my main embellishment.  I added some ribbon, twine and pearls to really set it all off. The sketch is from Seize the Sketch.

The colors are from Dynamic Duos.  Always Artichoke is my favorite Christmas green color.  Pairing it with Crumb Cake made the card really pop.  I opted to use Whisper White as a neutral color.  I am going to be using this card sketch and colors again!  The little sentiment is from TSG.  I also stamped the inside. I love finishing the inside of cards, gives them some weight since the front is heavier too.

baby shower Owl!

I needed a card for a baby shower, and I thought a cute owl would work.  I got the template off the internet such a long time ago, I don't know where it came from now! If someone knows, please let me know, i'd love to give them credit.  Such an adorable little owl.

FMS & TSG

The challenge over at TSG this week was to use polka dots and stripes on your card.  I immediately thought embossing polka dots and incorporating DSP for the stripes.

The sketch is from Freshly Made Sketches this week. I did a vertical card instead of horizontal. It worked better with my little image of the adorable little rudolph. I added some rhinestones to bling it up and give it a better spotlight on the little guy.

I even made another card yesterday, an OWL, you'll have to check it out HERE!!!!!!.
