Summer events

This summer has been crazy! I missed my best friends little girls 1st birthday!!! I can't believe it!! I feel awful...I made this card for her and I am off the post office to send it to her right away!  You can click on the pictures to make them bigger to see more details :)

Plus my best friends wedding anniversary is at the end of the month, so I made them this card. It will get there on time at least :)

Baby monday

There has been a baby boom in my husband's family this year, so I am getting some cards ready now for the year to come!


I used Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 126 today for my inspiration.  I used Nursery Sweet DSP, So Saffron, Wild Wasabi and Early Espresso, along with Whisper White for the card base. I just love how it turned out!!! I embossed the card base with the polka dots.  And, I really love the sketch, I can envision more cards with this sketch in the near future!

Thanks for stopping in today. I know it's been over a month since I made a blog post. I have my daughter home from school now for summer vacation, and a busy two year old as well, so my craft time has been on the back burner :(

I hope to get to some more cards this week, it really helps me relax, and I need it this week for sure!!!
